After ZUHAIR's family migrated to Australia from Pakistan, creativity became his outlet and way to connect with others. He wrote poetry and sung from a young age and decided to combine these two skills together when he fell for a girl in the sixth grade. He was too shy to ever show it to her, but this began his song-writing journey which remained a private hobby until 2017 when, under the encouragement of his vocal teacher, he decided to release his debut EP 'Protégé'. The project was very well-received by listeners and created some online buzz around ZUHAIR. He has been consistently releasing music since then, and has now amassed over 100M streams across platforms, headlined multiple shows, and collaborated with other Australian R&B heavyweights including RINI and William Singe.
